Tad Boyle's Colorado Buffaloes got off to a rough start during the 2011-2012 going 5-4 over their first 9 games. The Buffs, led by Carlon Brown, Andre Roberson and Spencer Dinwiddie, rebounded to finish the season 19-11 and firmly on the NCAA Tournament bubble heading into the Pac-12 Tournament.
Colorado won their first 3 games over Utah, Oregon and Cal to setup a championship matchup with Arizona. A narrow win, 53-51, took the Buffaloes squarely off the bubble and firmly into the NCAA Tournament.
Colorado was given the #11 seed in the South Region of the NCAA Tournament where they beat #6 seed UNLV before falling to #3 seed Baylor.
