Boasting one the nations best backcourts in Allen Ray and Randy Foye, Jay Wright's Villanova Wildcats entered the season under the national radar.  Nova finished the season ranked #19 in the AP Poll and earned a No. 5 seed in the Syracuse Region of the NCAA Tournament.  

Villanova beat New Mexico and No. 4 seed Florida to advance to the Sweet 16 before losing a heartbreaker to No. 1 seed North Carolina, 67-66.
