His final averages after playing and starting in every single Clippers game that season were 22 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists on 50 percent shooting. His name being placed on that season’s ROY award angered some who complained he wasn’t really a rookie. But those were All-Star averages accomplished by an All-Star entertainer.
