Coming into the season with a Top 10 ranking, Quinn Snyder's Missouri Tigers had dreams of reaching the Final Four. After climbing all the way to #2 in the nation in December theTigers struggled the rest of the way home and ended the season with 11 losses and out of the polls. That put them squarely on the NCAA Tournament bubble.
Missouri was given the #12 seed in the West Region. In the opening round they upset #5 seed Miami and followed it up with another win against #4 seed Ohio State. The Tigers were in the Sweet 16 and looking for more! An 83-72 win against #8 seed UCLA put Missouri one win away from the Final Four.
Their season would end in an 81-75 defeat to Oklahoma in the Elite 8.
