Houston Cougars 1991-1992 Retro Shorts (Away)

Pat Foster's 1991-1992 Houston Cougars were led their two super seniors, Sam Mack and Craig Upchurch.  The seniors combined to average over 32 points and 12 rebounds per game.  With help from Junior, Bo Outlaw, the Cougars went 22-5 during the regular season to win the SWC regular season championship. 

With their NCAA tournament hopes hanging in the balance, Houston needed to win the SWC tournament to ensure a bid.  They did just that, winning 3 games over SMU, TCU and finally Texas to punch their NCAA tournament ticket.

Houston was the #10 seed in the Midwest Region where they lost to #7 seed Georgia Tech, 65-60.
